Summary or background of the training:
The WAFA Project team held a three-day 2 conflict resolution and peace building trainings in Gardiz Paktia province from July 12 to July 14, 2022, in accordance with the monthly action plan, with a total of 30 female and 30 Male participants from 15 suggested organizations. The capacity of the trainees was improved with reference to the conflict resolution and peace building process.
The workshop was led by a Master trainer, certified by WAFA, using superior
approaches. Various participants' questions, remarks, and points of view were
addressed during the session. The workshop attendees gave their full
concentration and result during group work, made use of new themes and
information about Conflict resolution skills, and sharpened their abilities.
The main objective of the training was:
· To improve attitude of Afghan people in peaceful resolution and
developing understanding of impacts of disputes on youth and women through
informative workshops
· To promote conflict prevention and resolution at community level
through development of uniform peace strategy

· Parts of comprising of Violence.
· Problems solution of Common people.
· Ways of Conflict Resolution.
· Negotiation, mediation, arbitration and judgment.
· Roles of leaders’ in peace.

During the mentioned Workshops certificates, food, refreshment,
brochures and required stationary have been provided to each participant.
Post-test was
conducted on the last day of the training to know effectiveness of the
training, also certificates were provided to the participants.
The result of pre-test and post-test was as follow:
The average score of 60 participants in pre-test was = 25
The average score of 60 participants in post-test was = 91
