WAFA The Water Aid for Afghanistan (WAFA) is a national non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and humanitarian organization working in Afghanistan since 1994. The organization was registered as an NGO with the Ministry of Planning and later on registered with number 377 dated 1st February 2006 at the Department of NGOs with the Ministry of Economy in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The organization is professionally managed by a group of committed and young professional Afghans having years of experience with governmental and nongovernmental organizations in and outside of Afghanistan.

Besides, WAFA has been working as an Implementing Partner of the Ministry of Education and has working protocols for education and accelerated education programs, WAFA works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled. WAFA also has close cooperation with the Ministry of Justice in connection with children in conflict with the law.
